James "Jim" Bragge, 85, passed away on Aug. 29, 2023, in North Branch.
Jim was born March 6, 1938, in St. Paul to Elmer and Beulah (Fitzgerald) Bragge. He grew up in Carlton. After graduating from Carlton High School in 1956, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served four years stationed at Point Mugu Naval Air Station outside of Los Angeles.
Jim spent most of his life in Carlton. He retired to Port Isabel, Texas but found his way home again to Minnesota and spent his last few years in North Branch.

Jim especially enjoyed attending music therapy with his beloved girlfriend Marie. Although he preferred to listen rather than join in with the singing, he was persuaded to play the triangle, and did so with gusto.
Preceding Jim in death were his parents; brother, Robert Bragge; and sister Lillian Ziebarth. He is survived by his children, James N. Bragge, Randy (Nok) Bragge and Laura (Barry) Kilner; grandchildren, Randall Jr., Michael, Stephanie, Cara and Danny; great-grandchild Aniyah; and sisters Helen Holsworth, Mary Ellen (Bob) Nicholson and Joanne (Dan) Miska.
A memorial service will be held in November in Carlton.
