John Francis "Bucky" "Skin" Peacock, 67, of Cloquet died on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023. He was born on Sept. 11, 1956, to Robert and Elizabeth (Morrissette) Peacock in Cloquet.

John was a plumber by trade and worked with various companies throughout his life.

He was a proud member of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He loved camping and fishing at the river and his trips to Las Vegas.

John was preceded in death by his parents; brothers George and Emeron; and sisters Patricia and Elizabeth "Bitsy." He leaves behind his children, Dale Peacock, Tracy Peacock and Amanda (Shawn) Peacock; siblings Robert "Sonny" (Kathy) Peacock, Michael "Peanuts" Peacock, Thomas (Betsy) Peacock, Mary Peacock, Barb Peacock, Jim Peacock, Pam (Gerard) Sordelet and Richard (Cheri) Peacock; grandchildren, Ramiro Pacheco and Isabella Peacock; and numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends.

A traditional wake for John was held Wednesday at the Fond du Lac Cultural Center, followed by a funeral service there on Thursday. Burial is at New Holy Family Cemetery. Arrangements by Nelson Funeral Care of Cloquet. To sign an online registry, visit http://www.nelsonfuneralcare.net.
