Sectional volleyball action kicked off this week with local teams in action Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Things will heat up even more with semifinals and finals in the coming days. Find scores and matchups below.

Quarterfinal action takes place on Friday, Oct. 27 at the higher-seed home court, and semifinal play is set to take place on Wednesday, Nov. 1. The championship will take place at 6 p.m. Nov. 4. Both the semifinals and finals will be held in Virginia at Rock Ridge High School.
Area teams make up the southern part of the section and left side of the bracket, with teams farther up north playing on the other side of the bracket.

North Branch Area/Princeton winner at Cloquet,
6 p.m.
No. 1 Cloquet received a first-round bye and will not play until Monday. The Lumberjacks will host the winner of Wednesday’s North Branch Area/Princeton in a semifinal matchup at 6 p.m. Monday in Cloquet. The final will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 at a yet to be determined site.
