Albert Jasper Holm, 86, of Carlton passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth. Albert was born to Albert and Lucille Holm on Feb. 4, 1937. He was raised in Camanche, Iowa, graduating in 1955, joining the U.S. Air Force shortly after. Albert married Florence Elaine in Carlton in 1970.

He worked as the transportation supervisor for the Carlton school district. He was a member of the Bethesda Lutheran Church, Wednesday Morning Breakfast Club, and Friday morning Bible study. Albert enjoyed sports, but his favorite times were those spent with the grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Holm; parents; three brothers; Baby Boy Theisen; and many others.

Albert will be missed by Chuck (Barb) Goad, Bobbie Johnson, Craig (Des) Holm, Cheryl (Todd) Schilla, Kristin and Chad Goad, Nichole and Robert Theisen, Brittany and Lindsey Dahl-Holm, Cody Jacoby, Aaron Schilla, Callie Holm, and many great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.

Services were held Sunday, Nov. 19, at Atkins Northland Funeral Home in Cloquet, with burial at Silverbrook Cemetery in Wrenshall.
