Sherman D. Wisneski, 91, of Cloquet, passed away Monday, Dec. 18, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth. Sherm was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Cloquet, the son of Stanley and Myrtle (Erickson) Wisneski.

He worked as a truck driver for Dahlen Transport and was a member of the Teamsters Union. Sherm especially loved fishing and also enjoyed hunting and woodworking.

Sherman was preceded in death by his parents; son, Donald Wisneski; daughter, Sherri Wisneski; and brothers, Stanley and Peter Wisneski. Sherm is survived by his wife, Helen; three sons, Steve (Lynn) Wisneski, Dale Wisneski and Gene (Julie) Wisneski; daughter, Rebecca Paitrick; sister, Mary Ann Kerman; grandchildren, Blayre Madison and Ava Leigh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will begin at 10 a..m. Saturday, Jan. 6 and proceed until the 11 a.m. memorial service at Nelson Funeral Care. A luncheon will follow in the fellowship room.
