Smear League meets 2-4 p.m. the second and fourth Mondays at the Cloquet VFW. $5, winnings for first, second and third place. Covid protocol observed.

Niibidoon: Relationship weaving webinar “Thanksgiving Unstuffed: The St. Patrick’s Day edition” 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 23. Conversation topics on equity, diversity, and inclusion across Carlton County include “Let's talk about race” April 27; “Exploring unconscious and implicit bias” May 25; and “Finding your voice, leading for change” June 22. Ruby’s Pantry visits Our Savior’s Lutheran, 615 12th St., Cloquet, Wednesday, March 24. Registration begins at 9:45 a.m., food bundles distributed 10-11:30 a.m. Donation: $20. Questions, call 218-499-8584 (updated from March 12)

Saturday, March 27

Ruby’s Pantry visits Mission Creek Church, 521 131st Ave. West in the Fond Du Lac

neighborhood of Duluth, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. the fourth Saturday of the month. The March 27 food distribution will be drive-thru to limit Covid-19 exposure. Guests will remain in their vehicles, and volunteers will bring grocery bundles directly into guests’ vehicles. Donation: $20 donation per share. Pick up a Make Your Own Treasure Bag Take and Make kit at the Carlton Area and Cloquet public libraries March 15-31, while supplies last. The kits, designed by sewing instructor and author Mary Mulari of Aurora, include fabric, supplies, and instructions to sew your own felt treasure bag by machine or hand. Search for “Treasure Bag Craft” on YouTube for a supplemental tutorial. This program, sponsored by Arrowhead Library System, was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. alslib.info.

Carlton VFW Post 2962 hosts Bingo 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, meat raffle 6 p.m. Fridays, free pool and darts on Sundays and poker 7 p.m. Sundays. 218-384-3794

The Salvation Army drive-thru food shelf is open Tuesdays 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m. Call 651-746-3407 for more on programs helping people in need.

The food train distributes produce, dairy, meat and milk Thursdays at B&B Market starting between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m., until supplies run out. Check the B&B Facebook page weekly for schedule changes and other details.
