Donna M. Larsen, 89, of Cloquet, passed away Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, at Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Cloquet. She was born April 12, 1934, in Cloquet, the daughter of George and Viola (Bayless) Jorgenrud.

Donna grew up in Cloquet and graduated from Proctor High School. She was married to Martin Larsen on Sept. 25, 1954, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Twig. Donna and Martin lived in Esko for most of their married life and then on Eagle Lake in Cromwell from 2001 to 2015. She was a homemaker who loved her family dearly and was a caregiver to all.

Donna was also a faithful member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Cloquet, where she helped count Sunday contributions for more than 50 years. Her faith in God and her church were a very important part of her life.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Martin Larsen. She is survived by her children, Kurt (Cesar Montoya) Larsen, Kristi (Tim) Johnson, and Kari (Tim) Parsons; and grandchildren, Aaron Johnson, Emily Johnson and Nicole (Michael) Urban.

Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service on Friday, Oct. 20 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Cloquet. A luncheon in the church social hall will follow.

An inurnment service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grand Lake Cemetery in Twig. Arrangements by Nelson Funeral Care.
