Roger Fenton Davis, 87 of Cloquet passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 in Barnes Care in Esko with his loving family by his side. He was born August 9, 1931 in Sisseton, South Dakota to Frank and Marion Davis. In 1938 the family moved to Superior, Wisconsin. Roger graduated from Superior Central High School in 1949. On Feb. 23 and 24, ski jumpers from the Cloquet Ski Club competed in the 2019 Central Junior Ski Jumping Championships. Enbridge hopes to change the route of a second pipeline that crosses the Fond du Lac Reservation, but this time the proposed changes are welcomed by the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa officials.
