    Beatrice Ann Lucille Heikkila, 90, of Cromwell, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, in her apartment at Cardinal Courts with family by her side. She was born on July 31, 1931, in Gackle, North Dakota to Amos and Julia Haro. Beatrice was married to Jonas Heikkila on Aug. 6, 1949, and they lived their lives together in Cromwell on Heikkila Lake. Melvin was born to Arvo and Gladys (Carlson) Jokela on Jan. 4, 1948, in Carlton. He lived in the Esko and Carlton area all his life and graduated from Carlton High School in 1966.     Minnesota Wilderness forward Max Neill captured the NAHL’s award for top forward for the month of January. The announcement came just three days after goaltender Konrad Kausch was named Midwest Division Star of the Week for his performance against the Chippewa Steel and three weeks after linemate Will Persson was named the Midwest’s Star of the Week.
